Announcing the 2025 NYAA Glider Cup
Now Underway!
The National Youth Aviation Academy is excited to announce the launch of the 2025 NYAA Glider Cup, a season-long competition running now through the end of the year!
Up to 10 official flight opportunities cover two events per day!
Prizes for each event!
Competition Rules:

Scores will be recorded at all NYAA-sanctioned flying days.

Each flyer will complete up to 5 official flights per event on each flying day.

The three highest scores of each day will count towards your overall NYAA Glider Cup Score.

The NYAA Glider Cup Winner is determined by accumulating the ten highest scoring days of each event.
Event Categories:
Catapult Launch Glider
An Outdoor Catapult Glider is powered by the energy of stretched elastic bands.
Hand Launch Glider
An Outdoor Hand Launched Glider is a non-powered model aircraft that is launched into the air by being thrown by hand.
Whether you are a newcomer or a seasoned competitor, the NYAA Glider Cup is a fantastic way to fly often, compete fairly, and push your skills to the next level!
