The USA Junior FAI Free Flight Team had a fantastic showing at the 2026 Junior World Championships in Prilep, North Macedonia, bringing home the GOLD for the Junior FAI F1APBPQ World Championship Team Challenge which is awarded to the team with the highest score cumultative across all events! Congratulations to NYAA members, Kiana and Aurelius, for setting two new AMA Youth Junior National Records! Kiana set a record in F1Q Electric Power Outdoor Free Flight with 19 minutes, 47 seconds! Aurelius followed with a record setting 35 minutes, 18 second flight in F1B Wakefield Rubber-Powered Outdoor Free Flight! Hard work and practice have you soaring tto new heights! Way to go!
